The Vivian Munday/Buck Jones Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award honors an individual for a lifetime of achievement and contributions to the green industry. It is recognized as GGIA's most prestigious award.

The Jake Tinga Distinguished Professional of the Year is an annual award given to a GGIA member who made significant contributions to the advancement of Georgia’s Green Industry.  

Rick Berry / Marc Richardson Green Industry Business of the Year recognizes a GGIA Member Business that has contributed greatly to the success of other green industry businesses. It is the only GGIA Award that recognizes a business, not an individual.  

GGIA Communicator of the Year honors an individual who best served the horticulture industry in Georgia through the media and other communication efforts. 

Jake Tinga Young Professional of the Year is given for outstanding success in the field of environmental horticulture and is offered as an inspiration to others starting out in the industry. The candidate must be under 35 years of age or have been involved in the industry for less than ten years. 

GGIA Educator of the Year honors an individual who made an outstanding contribution to ornamental horticultural research and industry promotion through academic endeavors. 

GGIA Environmental Friend of the Industry honors an individual outside of the horticulture industry, who endeavors to promote the industry.
